R. A. Blumenthal

 R. A. Blumenthal was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised mainly in Amityville, NY.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY College at Old Westbury and a Master of Science degree from Long Island University, where he studied Counseling. Licensed as both a mental health counselor and a school counselor, Mr. Blumenthal is the originator of a cognitive behavioral treatment called Rational Suggestion Therapy, about which he has written for professional journals. In 2003, he was awarded a United States patent for his invention of a computer hypnosis method.

A lifelong lover of history, Mr. Blumenthal endeavors to find the more human aspects of historic events.

He currently resides on Long Island, NY with his wife Linda Blumenthal and their children, Sarah and Emily.
